This is a heavily textured multi medium artwork that was inspired by flax weaving and the  NZ Winter. Fresh back from 10 years in tropical Vietnam I found my first winter very long. I used a lot of different contrasting textures and a board mount on the back to create a large contemporary artwork that sits 2cm out from the wall to give it a shadow floating effect.
