'Time Lines' came third in the Kaipara Art Awards in 2021. It is a modern abstract of shapes and textures that weaves together my life represented  by coloured lines. My family heritage in the south of England, my time spent on beaches, cities and foreign countries. Techniques learned in my time in Vietnam and textures that I have practiced in the places I have created artwork. The pattern running through the artwork was designed by me, taking the world symbols for both 'creativity' and 'World' and combing them into a pattern that can be used through this series. We absolutely live in a world of beauty and creativity that interconnect by the lines of time we experience.
